Audacious

Hello all,

I just downloaded Audacity. I wanted to record something to post on a thread in one of the forums where I hang out. I thought I'd post it here in case anyone is curious as to what my voice sounds like.

Well, KT, can't say as I've ever heard of the book before, but it was certainly nice to hear you read from it. As someone who's considered a celebrity on the aliute boards, it's nice to finally know what you sound like. I just happened to be bored and perusing different areas of fanfiction.net and eventually wound up at a link to your blog. I listened to the sound installment all the way through. Very nicely done.

PS: this is shifter, a guy who doesn't post on the boards very often - the one who keeps asking about your bouncing habits. Cheers.

NIce work for the first try. A few suggestions: 1. Try a different mic. MXL makes a great USB mic. made just for this kind of stuff.2 Get a pop screen. This will get rid of the plosives (b,p ect.) 3. Audacity can compress the wav file into an mp3 that will make the file smaller and decrease download times. I had forgotten what a good reading voice you have. well done. check out our church's podcast at www.ebc37760.org and click on listen online. enjoy
