I hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July! It's hot and muggy here. We may get some storms later. I do hope we get to see the fireworks -- the mister is so looking forward to them.
Only a couple of days until the next issue of Teen Titans! I'm so excited! I've seen the previews of some panels on Tony Daniel's blog over the past few months, and I'm ready to read it. I hope we get some clues on what happened between BB and Raven over the OYL. I'm ready for some kind of indication of... anything!

I think the mister has some Marvel comics coming this week as well. He's collecting the "Civil War" crossover event. I really need to read it. I've been reading some of his "Captain America" comics to tide me over until we get some TT action again...

Would it be too much trouble for you to post about the issue with the Doom Patrol when it comes out in August? I am not a huge Gail Simone fan, didn't read Villians United, and am generally not intersted in the title but I loves me my Doom Patrol. Just not enough to actually buy the issue myself. Heh.
Actually, I fear for the DP. Simone may be a good writer, but her 2-issue arc on Teen Titans was terrible. So...it's really a morbid curiosity.
I don't think Kory will die in this week's 52.
And yes, we need to get an indicated of what happened between Gar and Raven during the missing year.

Yes, I liked them in the "Villains United" mini. Gail's TT issues may have been a case of "she just didn't know the characters very well". I think it would have been better if she were more familiar with the characters. However, her writing on "VU" was excellent, and I am enjoying "SS" so far. I'll be glad to give you a synopsis of the DP issue when it comes out. DeTroyes gives excellent reviews, so you might want to watch his "fortressofif" blog as well when that issue comes out.
I've got my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that we'll get some hints in #37 on the BB/Rae situation.
